EDIT: I watched a different version of Aquarion and realized that there WAS an opening, however it was incorperated into the anime. I also noticed that the [Mahou] version seemed to be translated better (perhaps maybe, but they seemed more like what I've seen from other subbers).

Well there seems to be an influx of new anime on the horizon:
If you don't know I usually sometimes review anime as I'm watching it...
Eureka 7 - Took me a while to find a working #1 torrent that wasn't in French, Spanish or German. OP: Music is OK and B00BIES! The OP also makes me think of Transformers mixed with Get Ride AMDriver. The style makes me think of Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter and I'm not sure why that specific Breath of Fire either. Speaking of Get Ride whatever happened to a subbed episode 2. I still have episode 1 kicking around here. That whole surf board down the hill reminded me of another skateboard down the hill crash. >_> Kids will never learn that grass is the devil. Holland looks like a young Gankutsuou. Note to all: ALWAYS PAY YOUR HOME OWNERS INSURANCE!! Overall I'm not sure where this anime is headed. The animation style makes it seem like it's going to be a die hard serious anime, however the characters aren't playing that out too well. I'll take a look at #2 and then see from there. It may be a sleeper like Ragnarok Online.
Sousei no Aquarion - Another mecha anime. OP: Well, I'm not sure there was one or if there was it was cut out >:( I'm downloading another version of it to see, the one I have currently is [Mahou]. Apollo=Gau. This guy even fights a bit like Gau, tearing wires off with his teeth. He even eats live rats O_O! It has that air of Evangelion mystery with Fallen Angels and stuff, however it seems to be Greek/Roman Gods VS The Christian Mythos, Apollo, Sirius, Mars, Luna VS Cherubim, Angels etc. Everytime they say Gattai I am SO rememinded of Daguwon. The soundtrack is a must Download, the whole animation style is reminiscent of Xenogears, the music seems to be a taking of Grandia II. It also has a bit of Saint Seiya shout the name of the cool attack, oh and naked scenes for guys and girls. It aseems to have a high ratio men to women. After I found out that Apollo is Apollonus the sexy Cupid/Eros guy all I could think of is...MMmmmm....Rats! Overall it seems to be a strange Brave series style mecha anime with Roman VS Christian themes and a very short ending theme. Which is still Grandia II like. I also want to note that it has Microman Edison, Arden Flame/Tomahawk, Microman Blizzark, and Gel (Who comes from Season 2 I think...) OK OK, just the voices but still...Tobita Nobuo ROCKS!!
Plawres Sanshiro - Plawres Sanshiro is the original Angelic Layer with an arena and battling doll/action figures. It's old and has a cheesy feel to it and doesn't have drop dead sexy male fighters, but even then Angelic Layer only had one (how disappointing). The main fighter here though is ok looking. The plot is that the kid wants to fight in the tournament, but can't since he's not registered but he goes there any ways. After the tounament he points out that there is a flaw on the winners fighter, he gets laughed at and kicked out, however he recieves and invitation from the guy to come after hours and fight. Well, you know what happens. He goes, he wins and there is a shady guy in the stands that notices his fight and takes and keen interest in him. It seems to be interesting in an old cheezy sorta way.
スーパーロボット大戦(Super Robot Wars) Original Generation - OP is by JAM Project, however it luke war to their other Super Robot stuff, it not as...RISE UP and FIGHT...GO GO GO....tempo...very disappointing T_T. Anyways...it SUPER ROBOT TAISEN!!! Everyone should know what this is about :D. It's got mechs in it from like...every mech series out there...Gundam, Getter Robo, uhm...Mazinger Z has been in some...The Brave Series has been in it...the list is VERY long. Characters are varied between M/F and the costumes are also just as varied. Anything from a full pilots power gear style to a maid outfit. Aww...they killed the cute camera crew T.T....OK..everybody dies.... Or at least, I think they did. I might want to mention that each mech also has it own way to be piloted, some have the typical cockpits, however others have the standing Telepathic seeming style. The mechs seem to include some new looking ones as well as some that could have been in a Brave series. OMG I heard a Star Trek:TOS bridge ping..O.O! ED is also by JAM project...and also Lukewarm :|. Future speculation, well it leaves on a cliffhanger, so all I can see is either the people are being used by something to be a brain for the mechs or people were transported to another dimension and have to duke it out a la..Super Robot Taisen style. Definately one I want #2 to.
