maverynthiaSomething else has been bothering me..especially today as I sign up for Yet another online pet place since Neopets is now a bloated monster of what it used to be...
Referrals
The thing that get's me is that ONLY the person that referred you to the website gets anything out of the deal, so why should I click on thier referral links, they get the 50000000 or whatever credits and I still get 0. Is it suposed to be for the warm fuzzles that I get inside for helping another out? It's a pyramid scheme, because now YOU have to go refer people to the site and now there is one less person to refer...
I fail to see the need to actually help these people get more digital credits because I'm not going to get anything. See, when you got to the bum on the street and give them $10, or $1 you feel good that you helped another human out, you know they need the money. However these referal systems are not even like that...They don't need the extra credit things...
Like those referal things, that if you refer someone to the game YOU get extra months free or something, the person that signed up gets ZILCH...
So 10 times out of 10 if you have a referal link and I actually link what on the other end, I'm going back to the home page and not giving YOU anything...
