Well Furaffinity is going down. Just when I decide that the place is pretty decent and the ads they have are livable.

Figures, all the good galleries are offline and all the suck ones have 500000 ads that slow the site down. Of course they promise blinding speeds if you only would toss them $20 a month. It's a fucking rip-off!! All these art sites were "pet projects" and of course they then say they can't believe "how they've taken off" which is Bullshit. Of course then they ad the place up and start demanding money to get rid of them.

Well, Furaffinity didn't go down because of funding or ads. It went down from the suck users who wouldn't communicate with the admins and the suck admins that wanted to fight between themselves.

There never will be a truly free art site with cool admin and TRUE freedom of expression.
