Well, the PS3 is official at $600, you could buy the cheaper system, but it won't play Blu-Ray movies AT ALL.
The Revolution I hear is shaping up to be a good system and Microsoft even said for the price of a PS3 you could get an XBox360 High End AND a Revolution.

Sony is pegging on the "Cheap Blu-Ray theory" VS the actual stuff you need to actually USE the damn stuff. YOu need an HDTV with a special jack thinger that take the HDMI or whatever input in order to use the movies.

The Sony fanboys are drooling all over FFXIII, however they don't realize that it's no longer a Final Fantasy at all. It's now a pseudo FPS, or at least that's what the demo showed, however all the demos were prerendered. I'm hoping that Sony seriously tanks on this one. I might even buy an XBox360, who knows.. I'm definately getting a Revolution.

Overall I think Nintendo will win this console war followed by Microsoft.
