Dec. 28th, 2004 02:25 amYou know, I don't feel bad about the whole Tsunami thing. It's depressing yes, but...(and I'm going to catch hell for this) I feel it's the Earth's desprate attempt at cleaning the parasite off her body. For far too long humans have been abusing the Earth and destroying her and I feel that this is nature's way of fighting back. It's that or the fact that the mass over population of humans CAUSED the plate to shift in some way and thus the humans brought it onto themselves...Very much like the arrogant Amercians ignored warnings of terrorists and the whole 9/11 thing happened. Don't be mad at the terrorist, be mad at Bush and the Gov'ment that didn't DO anything because it was (most likely) a woman that brought this to their attention.
I feel humans need to get their head out of their asses and LOOK at nature and try to do things in a more natural fashion. Gasoline combustion for engines in NOT natural, however the release of energy like static is a common occurance. Chopping down trees and building condos and immolating the local wildlife is NOT NATURAL, living amongst nature and having it as part of the life is.
Most people ask me if I think animals are equal to humans. YES, and it's about time we treat them as such.
Oh and about nature and gay rights....I heard that Japan has some gay penguins in captivity so it IS natural.
